Creation & Production of the Cinema Festival to celebrate 100 years of cinema and emphasize the new paths of cinema and the audio-visual industry of the future. 91 feature films exhibited in 4 weeks and 12 international seminars with directors George Sluizer (The Vanishing), Gurinder Chadha (Bhagi on the Beach), Steve James (Hoop Dreams),Alfonso Arau (Like Water to Chocolat), Darnell Martin (I Like it Like That) and Spike Lee.
Reprentatives of George Lucas', Denis Leonard of Skywalker Sound; Janet Healy of Industrial Light & Magic. Douglas Trumbull of Imax/Ride Films & responsible for special effects for 2001, Blade Runner, Brainstorm, Star Trek; The special guest, Dennis Hopper; Jan Christopher Horak of cinemateque of Munchen and academics Annette Michelson, Scott Bukatman and Robert Stam.
